What We Believe

We believe, teach, and confess that the inspired and inerrant Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments of the Bible are the Word of God and the sole source and norm for faith and life.

We believe, teach, and confess God as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit as taught by the Scriptures and confessed in the historic confessions of the Christian Church - the Apostles', Nicene, and Athanasian Creeds.

We believe, teach, and confess that God, in His grace, promised the sinful children of men a Savior who would rescue them from the clutches of sin, death, and hell, and that He kept and fulfilled that promise by sending His only Son, Jesus, by Whose suffering and death, our sins have been paid for and our salvation secured.

We believe, teach, and confess that God still comes to us through His means of grace - the Word and the Sacraments of Baptism and the Lord's Supper - by which the Holy Spirit brings, encourages, and informs us with saving faith. 

We believe, teach, and confess that God has called us to be His children in the world for the sake of taking the love and forgiveness He has shown us and sharing that grace and mercy to the people among whom we live.
